Happy Valentine's Day

Since I'm single, I don't have to worry about doing the Valentine's Day thing. But for those of you who do, have a good one.

I Think I Had A Dream Like This Once

Another picture post...

I think that last one might wind up as my Windows wallpaper for a bit.

Mysterious Package

No, the titular "mysterious package" isn't the one in my pants.

I received a strange package in the mail today. It was a bubble envelope, with two odd stamps depicting the Statue of Liberty with it's eyes crossed out in white and it contained...

1) A postcard with the words "I am blind." in regular print and in brail on it.

2) An empty envelope with another blind Statue Of Liberty stamp on it.

3) Two pairs of rolled up pieces of plastic shaped like sunglasses with the URL: iamblind.org printed on them.

I'm assuming this is some sort of viral marketing ARG. Probably for the upcoming movie, BLINDNESS. I'm just trying to figure out why I received one of these packages. Did anybody else get one or anything connected to it? I'm just wondering.

Like Three Fonzies Here

Yesterday I read a story on Boing Boing about the documentary on Showbiz animatronic band that's coming out later this year. I recall both Showbiz Pizza and Chuck E Cheese from when I was a kid. Then I found this on YouTube...

I found it really funny.

I also think it's kinda crazy how people are buying up the entire set of animatronic animals and assembling sets in their garages to recreate those old theme restaurants, complete with shows. Even going to the point of programming in new songs.

Watch Out For That Michael Caine!

Do you recognize this man?

I'd imagine that most people would recognize Michael Caine. After all, he's only been in show business for over fifty years now. In a star-obsessed culture like ours you'd think he'd be pretty damn recognizable, right? Maybe not...

Caine: 'I was terrorist suspect'

The veteran actor, 75, revealed that when he was boarding a plane in Texas under his real name Maurice Micklewhite, the airport staff were wary of his behaviour.

He told GQ: "The guard said 'You've no luggage. You're a foreigner. You're in first class. And you're last to board. That is the profile of the 9/11 fliers'."

Oh, c'mon! You mean to tell me nobody working at that airport recognized the man? Shit, he even played Alfred in two BATMAN movies! Putting the fame aside, are there really cockney terrorists plaguing America? Hell, are there even cockney terrorists?

I Can Only Imagine What The Indian Version Of Neverland Ranch Is Like

This made me laugh hysterically...

The lyrics aren't really in English, they're just what English words they sound like.
