I've been caught up in other stuff, but eventually I'll get back on some sort of semi-regular schedule on here. Part of it is finding stuff to write about. I don't think anybody cares about my "thrilling" dog-walking "adventures". I also doubt anybody needs daily updates on my poker progress. I'd write about movies that I've watched, but I always seem to lose motivation when I plan to do that. (SHUTTER ISLAND was really good.)
Anyway, summers are always slow on my blogs, and this year hasn't been any exception.

I had an extremely busy weekend not too long ago filled with my sister's graduation one day, a surprise graduation party I was hosting for her the next day, and my mother's retirement party the day after. After the retirement party a bunch of us sat down to watch Shutter Island and I was so damn exhausted that I fell asleep about 30 minutes into the movie. When did I wake up? Oh just as they were revealing the twist ending. Damn it to hell!!
