Microsoft silently installing Windows Presentation Foundation Plugin for Firefox. I wondered why Firefox popped up a message telling me this plug-in, which I never installed, was blocked.

Pardon my bootleg: Navigating China's pirated waters. People paying for pirated items is a bit on an anachronism in the 21st century.
Judge: Ringtone not a public performance. Expect the music industry to throw a few zillion dollars into fighting this common sense decision. Honestly, look at their logic: "Even further startling is that it argued that they are a public performance even if it’s switched to vibrate, turned off, or located at home. It need only be 'capable' of being performed in public." Insane.
MPAA fires three anti piracy bosses. They were fired for not being "aggressive" enough, so expect some even worse bastards to replace them.

People are still making Sam Raimi apologize for SPIDER-MAN 3. I have it on DVD (got it for free), and Blu-ray (inherited it from my late brother) and I never watch it. It's always on on cable, but I usually flip right past it. Awful movie. Awful.
Video Games
Busted: USPS worker steals over 2000 GameFly games. To this day I wonder what happened to the HDTV that FedEx lost on its way to my house a few years ago. I imagine something exactly like this.
METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER voice cast revealed. No surprise who will be playing Snake.
ALPHA PROTOCOL delay may help visibility. Isn't it supposed to come out around the same time as a few other high profile titles like BIOSHOCK 2 and SPLINTER CELL CONVICTION?
MODERN WARFARE 2 PC not delayed, getting Steam support. Well, all right!
Upcoming Xbox 360 update locking out 'unauthorized' Memory Units. Douchey move by Microsoft.

I was wondering about the Firefox warning as well. Weird.
Also, I have a buddy here at work that knows a guy that works at UPS. My buddy ALWAYS has the latest stuff "for sale". When the Wii's were rare, he had five of them for sale. All because he has that UPS connection. I would not be surprised that your HDTV had faced the same fate.
