NOOOOOOO!!!!
Appeals court upholds online gambling ban. Oh no!!! Nooooo! Oh, wait. People are still doing it anyway. I know that I am. Nothing has changed.
Tech
Internet providers seek low broadband. Imagine that. Providers want to provide minimal speeds and call it "broadband". Scumbags.
Speaking of scumbags... Movie studios again demand HDTV disabling powers from FCC. Bleh.
11 p.m. is officially party time on the Internet. 11pm is pr0n time. No, really. That's why.
Entertainment
Syfy Channel Getting A Cooking Show? Well, who didn't think the name change would signify more crap programming. I mean they already had wrestling and a bunch of retarded reality shows anyway.
Fox breaks the first rule, talks about FIGHT CLUB on Blu-ray. I kinda got burnt out on this movie years ago. I'll probably pick up the BD, but not right away.
Mike Judge wisely uses Beavis, Butthead. While we're at it, Cinematical has an interview with Mike Judge.
Guy Ritchie directs DC Comics' alien anti-hero LOBO. Why? Seriously. Why?
Punky Brewster is back! (For a limited time only). This is just sad and a little disturbing.
Megan Mullally set to PARTY DOWN. Looks like she's Jane Lynch's replacement. I thought they were going to just go with Jennifer Coolidge, who stepped in at the tail end of the first season. Anyway, Mullally can be pretty funny when she's not doing that annoying squeaky voice. I find her tolerable outside of the confines of the unfunniest television show ever, WILL AND GRACE. (Honestly, that pile of crap's idea of "humor" was people screaming their unfunny lines at one another.) Looks like the rest of the cast are coming back as well.
Kristin Kreuk joins CHUCK. Another SUPERMAN-related addition to CHUCK's cast. I thought they were going to have to trim their budget this season, what's with all the new recurring characters?
Video Games
Independent study suggests 360 RRoD problems dwindling. I wonder how accurate this really could be.
GOD OF WAR COLLECTION cover: God Of War God Of War God Of War. Oh, and it looks like there might be some minor changes to the ports of the first two games to the PS3: GOD OF WAR COLLECTION might get a nip here, a tuck there.
Kojima: METAL GEAR SOLID RISING, PEACE WALKER teams not so friendly. I guess having more resources and better tech to work with can rub some people the wrong way.
HEAVY RAIN pushed back to 2010 because it 'needs space'. HEAVY RAIN is hardly the only game to want to escape the late fall pre-Christmas game glut. For example... Take-Two may unload on the first half of 2010.

As soon as "Punky" picked up the book I had to cut out. Talk about lack of nostalgia for something. My head started to hurt 60 seconds into it.
I was hoping Jennifer Coolidge would come back but apparently she can't get out of doing time on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
I don't think I even made it that far. Talk about a career hitting the skids.
