Entertainment

Surprisingly, cheaper Blu-ray movies make everyone happy. I still wish they were a little cheaper.

Fox officially rebooting FANTASTIC FOUR. I think they should keep Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis. They were the best parts of the first two fox FF movies, and perfectly cast. Maybe keep the guy who played Reed, since like the comic character, he was pretty bland and unnoticeable. Jessica Alba and the dude from NIP/TUCK definitely need to go though. Replace Alba with Rachel McAdams or Elizabeth Banks. I could buy either of those two as the Invisible Woman. No metrosexual Doctor Doom this time please.

MTV keeps the '80s revival going with TEEN WOLF pilot. Ugh. Y'know, I grew up in the 80's and don't have a lot of nostalgia for TEEN WOLF, because even as a kid I realized it was a shitty movie. I just can't believe it took this long to become a shitty TV series.

V: When Is A Reboot Not A Reboot?. Again, the idea that the people behind the new show don't want to credit the original is weak sauce. At least one the cast is willing to give the original it's due...

Mitchell: 'I feel obligated to original V fans'. She always seems nice in interviews. That stroke-like smirk that seems to be frozen on her face is a bit distracting though.

Video Games

First screens from GTA: BALLAD OF GAY TONY, some box art...

Oh, and a trailer too.... GTA IV: THE BALLAD OF GAY TONY trailer goes over the top. I can't wait for this game and the LOST AND DAMNED disc coming out at the end of October. Hopefully, I'll have enough in my poker bankroll by then to cash out a little and pick this game up.

HEAVY RAIN has no replay value (but that's a good thing?) That's a bit misleading. The creator thinks you should only play it once, but it seems like the game has a lot of replay value.

MODERN WARFARE 2 Multiplayer Gameplay Uncut: Flag Runner (Official HD). You're welcome.

Other Stuff

Girl spends lottery winnings on coke, implants, and booze. Isn't this sort of thing the reason *why* people play the lottery?

Google mail suffers widespread outage. I wondered why I couldn't get into my spam box, errrr... inbox today.

Despite winning $675,000, RIAA fears defendant is file sharing. Well now that he's probably broke, how else is he supposed to listen to music? HAHA!
