I've finally had a chance to play a bit of METAL GEAR SOLID 4. Based on what I've played so far, it certainly deserves all of the good reviews it's getting. The cutscenes do seem a bit long though. It's also sort of depressing to see Snake so old. It's bad enough real people get old, but do our fictional computer generated icons have to do that too? (I'm also still undecided which Snake I prefer more. Sure, Solid has a bunch of games behind him, but MGS3: SNAKE EATER made Naked Snake such a great character.) Anyway, hopefully I'll get to play more over the next few days.
The only thing of note I've watched over the last day or so is the season finale of IDEAL. It had a downer of an ending. Hopefully that wasn't the last episode ever.
A month or two ago I deleted everything off of my iPod in an effort to get some different stuff on there. Freshen it up a bit. Well, then I forgot all about it and haven't touched it until the other day when I wanted to listen to it while doing some cleaning. Then I remembered that I cleared everything out of it and only put two songs back on. I still haven't put anything on it. I bet I forget about it again, and this whole thing repeats itself.
