So just how old is Jack Bauer anyway? Apparently 15 years have elapsed between the first and current season (in the show's timeline).

Theaters now paid to play even more trailers - how many is too much? I think the real question is, how long before movies in the theater have commercial breaks? You know somewhere out there, some greedy idiot is trying to figure out a way to make that happen.

AMC adds actor, producer to WALKING DEAD. (It's the lady cop from the SILENT HILL movie.)

Mira, ees the MACHETE trailer, pendejo!. I've been waiting for this since they decided to make the fake GRINDHOUSE trailer into an actual movie. Looks awesome.

Your first look at Rutger Hauer's HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN. This was the winner of a fan fake GRINDHOUSE trailer contest. It was another, "I'd see that if it were a real movie," trailer for me.

ABC expands LOST finale by extra half-hour. That's nice.

Slight spoilers for episode 6 of the current season of DOCTOR WHO, an episode that hasn't aired in the US yet. BBC receives complaints over sexy WHO. That least scene in episode 6 did seem like it was skirting the edge of inappropriateness for a family show. That having been said, I'm so psyched that this Doctor has no interest in romance with humans. It's so nice after all the mushy nonsense under the last production team. (Think about it, the Doctor is hundreds of years old and an alien. It'd be like a person falling in romantic love with a dog or a cat. Yuck.)

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS gets director, 2011 release. They got Matthew Vaughn to direct. I guess that means the long promised LAYER CAKE sequel is even further away now. (Probably won't ever happen.)

It's official! Hugo Weaving IS Captain America's Red Skull! This guy sure gets a lot of genre work, huh?

More Whedon-esque "Ass-Kicking Chicks"? This starts off slow, but it made me laugh.

Yippie-ki-yay, DIE HARD 5 is on its way. I expect more PG13 mediocrity. The first one is still the only good one. Then again, that movie was an instant classic.

Even Infinity Ward's HR and recruitment lead has joined Respawn. Ship. Sinking.

FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS gets glitzy new shots, and there's a FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS preview.

METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER considered for PS3. Guess I won't have to buy the PSP version. I'd rather game on the HDTV than a tiny screen.

GOD OF WAR: GHOST OF SPARTA announced for PSP! Another game that reminds me I have a PSP and never use it.

Medal of Honor Ships Out In October + New Trailer. Looks a bit MODERN WARFARE-ish. I'll need to see more trailers to bump this from "maybe" to "buy".

Arcade Mode for KANE & LYNCH 2 detailed. Still on my "maybe" list. Definitely a don't buy at launch and wait for a cheaper price title.

GEARS 3 rumors claim series spin-offs, story details. Of course there will be more games in the series. The term "trilogy" no longer means "three of something" it means, "as many sequels we can make while it's still profitable".
