Poker: March Started Off Well, Could Be Headed South Though...

I think I have some sort of "winner's tilt", where I steadily recover from losses, pass a previous plateau and then lose a bunch the next session and then it either spirals downward or I play breakeven for a long stretch.

I was doing awesome this month. Today, I had my first losing session of the month. So I made it through the first week of this month playing very little (mostly short sessions) and steadily winning. Earlier today, I finally topped my previous bankroll total. So I stopped for the morning. Playing this afternoon, it didn't take long for me to drop back down. I lost 2.5 buy-ins... mostly on two big hands. One was a cooler and the other I just played badly.

Hands below the break.

The first hand is the one that I played badly. In both hands, the villains were spewy fish stacking off with weak hands in previous hands. So I felt pretty confident. The first villain was running 45/0/1 so, not exactly a tight player.

I know it was dumb move to call the reraise shove with three suited cards on the river here. Especially, when I had noted earlier that the fish I was up against was a "soot" player, playing any two suited cards. Like I said, winner's tilt.

The next hand is just a cooler. Maybe I could've gotten away on the river, but I honestly put him on a weak ace making trips, or maybe even two pair.

The lack of a preflop 3bet made me eliminate AA, KK, and AK from his range. Calling my over-sized cbet on the wet flop was no surprise. This guy was calling down with anything in other hands. The donk shove on the river didn't even make me pause. Like I said, I was putting him on a weak A making two pair or TT making a set.
