Idiots

Cellphone user sues movie theater after arm rest hits her head. Karmic justice. I hope she doesn't get a penny.

Hollywood seeks to kill off 3D golden goose with much higher prices. Clearly, the best way to combat people downloading movies is to make it even more expensive for people to see movies! Personally, I can't wait for the current 3D fad to die off.

Entertainment

VIDEO: DOCTOR WHO Clip From 5.6! Vampires In Venice! I love how when he shows his ID the picture is of William Hartnell, the first Doctor. That was a great touch. Based on the clips, I'm really looking forward to the new guy.

I bumped up the brightness a bit to make it more visible.
Rumour control: Rachel Weisz under consideration for Bond 23? I don't see this happening, but you never know.

Fox cancels "24" TV show; movie version is next. Honestly, season 5 was the last good season of the show. I was pretty close to quitting as a viewer this season, but since it's the end, I'll stick it out.

Bryan Singer drops out of directing X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. Good. I thought his X-MEN movies were over-rated and not very good. I did like the second better than the first, but even then, those sure weren't the X-Men that I've been reading about for over two decades.

Legendary artist and editor Dick Giordano passes away. This guy's been doing comics as long as I've been reading them, all my life. A bit sad, really.

Video Games

Rumour – CALL OF DUTY 7 called BLACK OPS, gets zombie mode and dedicated servers, more. Different eras instead of just World War II? I might be interested, although I'm reluctant to give Activision any money after their shoddy treatment of the Infinity Ward guys.

EA considering DEAD SPACE: EXTRACTION port for Xbox 360, PS3

DEAD SPACE 2 footage. Cammed at the PAX East games show, but still worth a look.

Exclusive: SCOTT PILGRIM THE VIDEO GAME! Music by Anamanaguchi, Pixel Art by Paul Robertson. A 2d game is perfect for that source material.

HEAVY RAIN will be Move compatible. They probably should've held HEAVY RAIN back to release it with Move when it comes out.

Yarr

Big Content: stopping P2P should be "principal focus" of IP czar. The unspoken follow-up quote would be, "After all, that's what we paid for, isn't it?"

Piracy up in France after tough three-strikes law passed. This sort of thing is proof that "three strikes" is a complete failure as a concept.

Rapidshare aims to convert pirates into customers. Apparently they don't understand exactly what people have been using Rapidshare for all along. It seems like they're trying to proverbially commit suicide (see Napster). Bonus points for taking shots at their competitors for hosting the same content that Rapidshare has knowingly hosted all along.
