Comcast tests broadband meter in Portland. Supposedly it's supposed to roll out nationwide soon. I guess if you have to have capped bandwidth it's better to have a meter than to be constantly guessing about your usage. (I've got DU Meter running on both of my machines, but constantly sending things back and forth on the LAN makes knowing what was local traffic bandwidth and net bandwidth pretty much next to impossible.)
