The final season of LOST will premiere on ... Tuesday, February 2nd at 9pm. So I guess they've moved the show again. I assume, unless it's canceled by then, that means they want to pair it with V. I wonder what this means for SCRUBS, which I thought was in that timeslot, unless its season will be done by then.
Of course, pairing LOST with V means that V would still have to be around in February. It may not: V deathwatch: ratings drop another 18%. Wow. Sinking ship or what?
Big LOST spoiler revealed on producer's Twitter page. It was mentioned somewhere else a few days ago too.
CHUCK to return in January. It comes back Sunday, January 10th at 8pm for two hours, and then returns the following night to its regular Monday at 8pm timeslot. Can't wait!
Awesome news: CHUCK sets return date, the first Season 3 video clip and an update from co-creator Chris Fedak. More CHUCK!
GLOBAL FREQUENCY gets a second crack at the small screen.
FIGHT CLUB Blu-ray messes with viewers. That's pretty funny.

A2M CEO: Publishers Mislead ESRB in Hunt for Lower Ratings. I think this is an incredibly stupid move by short-sighted publishers trying to get a lower rating to move more units. (It's sort of like how a lot of movies that would've and should've been rated R trim everything out to get a PG-13 because the studio wants more asses in the seats. Then the inevitable "unrated" version comes out on DVD.) All trying to slip things by the ratings committee does is give idiots like this... Labour MP Vaz: games should have health warnings ...more ammunition for their moronic bullshit.
At least one of these idiot organizations appears to be going away: National Institute on Media and the Family closing down. Good!
Speaking of idiots, Police: yes kid, parents can take your Xbox. And society gets just a little dumber each day. "Children are the future"? Then the future looks pretty bleak.
Lots on MODERN WARFARE 2...
MODERN WARFARE 2 not banned in Russia after all. It does however have the airport level cut out.
Infinity Ward considered aliens and zombies for MODERN WARFARE 2. That would've been really stupid for the main story mode of the game. As silly bonus content it would've been really cool though.
CALL OF DUTY game sells $550 million in five days. That's pretty amazing, given the economy.
Given that news, unsurprisingly, Activision wants to milk the hell out of the franchise. Activision may be bringing in third CALL OF DUTY team. They probably want to crank out more than one game in the series a year.
Of course there's also talk of a movie adaptation of COD: CALL OF DUTY movie talk highlights Kevin McKidd's sense of humor.
RESIDENT EVIL 5: Alternative Edition has an alternate episode. Sounds like it keeps getting better and better. (I guess the name will be "gold edition" over here: RESIDENT EVIL 5: Gold Edition gets new episodes and costumes.) It'll be available both as a disc and as DLC. Best of both worlds.
KANE & LYNCH return in DOG DAYS. Hopefully the sequel will be better than the first game which was pretty mediocre.
In non-mediocre gaming news, some new BIOSHOCK 2 stuff...
2K Games reveals BIOSHOCK 2 box art. I like the hidden face on the cover. Kinda creepy.
BIOSHOCK 2 has 'intense violence' and 'f*cking sodomites'.
BIOSHOCK 2 Special Edition announced. Seems cool. Still getting the regular edition. Guess I'm a cheapskate.
The Rest
Pretty much only of interest to those in my home state: Efforts to trim Massachusetts sales tax to 3 percent and eliminate alcohol sales tax gain steam. That would be awesome. Especially since they raised the sales tax from 5% to 6.5% earlier this year. Then again, this is Massachusetts. They'd just create a new tax or raise another tax to make up for the loss.
MPAA says copyright-treaty critics hate Hollywood. No, what we "hate" is the gigantic media corporations essentially becoming a branch of government. Complete with creating their own laws and enforcing them against the wishes of the people. Just remember, everytime you see one of these rich weasels whining about how they're loosing money, there's always the flipside of the exact same headline... Sony Pictures having its best box office year ever... still blaming piracy for killing the business.
Pirate Bay moves to decentralized DHT protocol, kills tracker. I doubt that'll stop the torrent of lawsuits. "Torrent". Pun. I'm terrible.
