Links For 9-8-2009

I didn't bother with categorizing this time around. Not enough links to merit it, really.

2 Massachusetts men accused of killing drug dealer and then cooking the body due in court. The criminals in my state will eat you up!

R.I.P. – Movie time listings in newspapers. I've been using Google for my local movie times for years now. Just punching in "movie times" followed by your zipcode does the trick. The first result takes you too Google's listing of times and theaters near you.

Jenna Fischer recently blogged about how much she's enjoys Jump Rope while working out. I don't mean to sound creepy here, but I'd pay for a DVD or Blu-ray of nothing but that for an hour or two. I totally would.

Goodbye, DRM; hello "stealable" Digital Personal Property. This all sounds like a gigantic load and just like DRM to me.

UK official on "three-strikes": digital piracy the same as physical. Sorry, but duplicating something just creates another copy, actually taking something removes the original object from the owner's posession.

Somewhat surprisingly, the ISPs don't like it: UK ISPs blast new "three-strikes" proposal. On the other hand, they know that people want broadband so they can download things, legally or otherwise.
