First a bit of tech news... Windows 7 *finally* goes to RTM. Naturally, it's already all over the net.
Now for the entertainment and games stuff. Most of which is from Comic-Con. I say this every year, but it bears repeating: I think it's sad that Comic-Con has become more of a press event for the film and TV industry (and to a lesser extent, the games biz) than a comic book convention.
First look: Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger. Since it's all shadowy, I honestly can't tell the difference between this guy and the original.
GTA IV: THE BALLAD OF GAY TONY, EPISODES FROM LIBERTY CITY hitting Oct. 29. October and November are going to be so expensive. Sigh.
Then there's the spy genre...
New ALPHA PROTOCOL video sneaks inside the safe house. Still looking like a game that I want to buy.
SPLINTER CELL: CONVICTION Comic-Con trailer is packed with action, accolades. I want this game so bad.

RESIDENT EVIL series unsure on direction, developers. "Seems Takeuchi and fellow RE veteran Masachika Kawata are playing blackjack to see who will end up producing the next RESIDENT EVIL game. For real." I don't even know what to say about this. Honestly.
