News That Didn't Fit Anywhere Else

Being slightly overweight could lead to longer life. Not the sort of headline I want to see when I've been busting my ass to lose weight over the last two months.

Google CEO says worst of crisis is over . I sure hope he's right.

Tech

Microsoft might sell Windows 7 on flash drives, spare netbook owners needless pain. That would be pretty cool.

Firefox 3.5 Will Arrive June 30. I did install RC3, which I imagine is the final, on my spare PC. It seems to run fine and only one of my extensions (Pterodactl) doesn't seem to work with it. Hopefully the author will update soon, since I use it quite a bit.

Internet groans under weight of Michael Jackson traffic. Well, not much of a surprise. I knew sites like Twitter would be next to impossible to use for a few hours on Thursday.

Entertainment

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM going HD this season, if you really want to see Larry David in HD. Good! I like the show, and I'm an HD snob. So the jump to HD makes me happy.

THE INVENTION OF LYING INTERNATIONAL movie trailer. I'm a Gervais fan, so I'll probably see this at some point.

VIRTUALITY web campaign calls for full-blown series. I thought the pilot was slightly boring. It had it's moments, but might've flowed better with some serious editing.

Video Games

Your BIOSHOCK 2 character went on a diet. Sweet concept art. Is it November yet?

Video games are equivalent to fighting words, conservative group argues in Supreme Court brief. Ahhhh... crazy old people. Luckily they'll all die off soon enough.

Next HITMAN game due "late 2010", movie sequel will tie in. The HITMAN games are really good, but the movie was a steaming pile. I can't believe that it's getting a sequel.
