Entertainment

Hate loud commercials? Well, they may be outlawed soon. Finally, a piece of legislation that I can get behind!

Why original V star Marc Singer thinks the time is right for the remake. Because he wants a job?

Whedon "really understands" DOLLHOUSE now, but can he get the viewers. I hope that understanding is more episodes like the second half of the season and little to none of the filler from the first five episodes.

The next James Bond gets a serious scribe . Actually, I prefer FIlmdrunk's take on this story.

DOOMSDAY gorehound Neil Marshall may direct PREDATORS. I liked DOOMSDAY and DOG SOLDIERS, so I'd probably be interested in seeing a PREDATOR flick directed by Marshall.

Video Games

Valve's Gabe Newell still not talking EPISODE 3. This is my only objection to LEFT 4 DEAD 2... I want more HALF-LIFE (and PORTAL too) and I want it sooner rather than later.

METAL GEAR creator didn't plan to be involved in new METAL GEAR games. Anybody who thought that Kojima was done with METAL GEAR after 4 clearly wasn't paying attention when he said he was going to stop after 2. Then 3.

The Usual

Rep. Wexler and the lies of the copyright industry. Yet another one for the "douchebag" list. There's also: Senator Orrin Hatch... and the lies the copyright industry tells. Seriously, vote these guys out of office.

'Three strikes' law is unconstitutional, says French court. I've long maintained, given the necessity of having an internet connection in modern society, how feasible is it really to cut people off?

Tech

Major UK ISP: video streaming's "free ride" is over. I see so many headlines like this on a daily basis, that it's getting to the point where all I can manage is a shrug of the shoulders.

Blu-ray gets Managed Copy next year, requires new hardware. I know "meh" is the most overused and annoying reaction to anything on the internet. Still, it applies here.
