'ITunes Tax' back from the dead in California. Shockingly, it's not popular with most politicians there!

Is Warner Bros. giving up on Guy Ritchie's ROCKNROLLA? It looks like the best film he's made since SNATCH, so I hope not.

Talking points for retard wranglers. (Instructions for TROPIC THUNDER protesters.) On a related note, my idea inspired by the TROPIC THUNDER 'controversy', a movie about mentally handicapped people in the army? Looks like the Onion beat me to it nearly a decade ago: Clinton Deploys Very Special Forces To Iraq

Kentucky college girl wears dress too short, gets kicked out of mall. What sort of world are we living in where this sort of injustice happens?

Leaked shows signal start of 'pre-air' season. I haven't watched any of those leaked shows yet. Not that I have any sort of moral objection to doing it, I've done it in previous years, I just haven't gotten around to it and can't say that I even care enough to bother.

Actually, it's good news: 10% of GTA IV buyers under 17, says Nielsen. Contrast that with the 48% of minors who have been exposed to R-rated movies. (Higher in both cases if you account for people who did those things and just didn't admit to them.)

'Beer goggles' are real - it's official. Did it really take a scientific study to verify that? I don't think so.

RIAA pays $107,951 to alleged filesharer. It's always nice to read about the shoe being on the other foot when it comes to those scum.

William Shatner signs off on new video autographs. Sounds like he was a bit cranky while making them. I'd love to have a video message from Shatner being a bit of a dick to me. That'd be all sorts of awesome.

KICK-ASS casting begins. I knew they were making a movie, but this article gives some future spoilers for the comic if the movie follows the plot of the book.

screw the kick-ass movie. i just want fucking issue #4. it's been pushed back like 5 months already. and 3 times this month on the marvel site. 6th to 13th to 27th. i'm sick of waiting. it's one of the best series out there, but the delays are killing it for me. then again, powers is almost never out too. must be an icon thing.

I gave up on POWERS awhile ago. Volume 1 was great, but 2 bored me to death. Anyway, I read somewhere that POWERS is on a quarterly schedule now, hence the long waits between issues.
