I hate to get political, but...
Report: Obama VP choice Biden is anti-consumer on tech issues. Once again, another election with terrible choices.
First, there's Bush version 1.5. Another old guy, who doesn't seem to have much of a clue about anything. Plus, let's face it, a man who couldn't evade capture by the enemy probably wouldn't get promoted in the military, right? So how logical is it to make him "commander in chief"?
Then on the other side of the political fence there's the guy people are hoping is like the president on the first three seasons of 24. Seemingly a better choice until you see that his running mate is a shill for the corporate media interests. A shill who wants to spend a billion dollars to monitor P2P networks. How about spending a billion dollars on schools, police, helping the homeless, reducing our national deficit, putting anybody from reality TV in a rocket and sending them on a one way trip into space, or any number of other things that would be more important than worrying about people downloading THE DARK KNIGHT or that stupid Katy Perry song?
Remember when politicians were people who were worthy of having their faces printed on currency? Choosing a president these days is like being forced to choose between Uwe Boll movies, there is no good choice.
