The MPAA thinks you're stupid. Shockingly, this time it doesn't involve downloading or recording stuff on your DVR. No, they assume people are morons who think the things on the big screen are real.

Universal: "Fair use" is still infringing. Boiling it down, they simply believe that fair use doesn't exist.

Home servers may render CD racks obsolete. I know I don't listen to any music that isn't digital anymore. I do still watch and use DVDs though. (I do watch some digital video.) Personally, I find running out of hard drive storage space happens even more quickly than running out of physical storage space.

Of course, while more people are enjoying the benefits of digital it doesn't mean physical storage is going away all that quickly... DVDs: We're not dead yet. DVDs are still selling well. Probably because watching DVDs is cheaper than going out these days.

Court tosses FCC 'wardrobe malfunction' fine. I hate the FCC when they're essentially serving as a censorship board. I think they're okay when they're saying that internet providers can't cripple users' services.

Wow, even people who like country music hate Jessica Simpson now. Guess she doesn't realize her fifteen minutes are long past up. Media stars: Build 'em up and tear 'em down. Faster and faster each year!

So that last story is more shocking considering the schlock that most country fans like: If this movie were a baby i'd drown it. If that's not a straight to DVD movie it might be time to seriously consider emigrating.

CRANK 2 gets a big head. WTF? That thing is creepy looking.

THE DARK KNIGHT’s Maggie Gyllenhaal, explained WTF? That thing is creepy looking. (See what I did there?)

Connery Leaves Son Out Of Will. Good for him! Most celebrity spawn are worthless, spoiled, annoying, and useless attention seeking idiots anyway.

Tretton on PS2 backwards compatibility in PS3: Buy both consoles, 'stack them'. Having seen backwards compatibility on both the PS3 and the 360, I say that the PS3 probably shouldn't bother. It's upscaling of old games looks blurry and terrible on an HDTV, and the widescreen games don't fill the full screen. Constrast that with the 360, where the upscaling fills the screen and some of the older games I've seen (like NINJA GAIDEN) look like current-gen titles.
