Should it be against the law to be a jerk online?. Oh man, I'd be in trouble.
Would you believe copyright infringement notices are based on faulty information? In a word, yeah.
Is metered broadband designed to keep you from ditching cable TV? Well, duh!
Customers cry fraud over Comcast P2P meddling in new lawsuit. Wait until things like ACTA pass, net neutrality is destroyed, or tiny bandwidth caps become the norm. You think people are upset now?
Top 10 most pirated TV shows on BitTorrent. I prefer to think of it as an "alternate time-shifting method" rather than piracy. Then again, I wind up buying a lot of the TV shows that I watch or dowload if I really like them. Downloading is more of an "I missed the episode because the cable was out," thing.
MPAA wants to stop DVRs from recording some movies. World wants MPAA to die in a fire and take the RIAA with them.
Strike cost CA $2.1 billion; online movies & TV shows to bring in $674M. Forget "piracy". The entertainment industry is its own worst enemy.
Everyone panic: teens are sending each other naked photos on camera phones. Where was this technology when I was a teenager. All we had were Polaroid cameras or our eyes.
Study: Teen drivers ignore cell phone restrictions. I think it's more than just teenagers ignoring those "don't talk on a cell phone when driving" laws.
FEARnet unveils 30 DAYS SAGA. Basically it's a miniseries consisting of 3-7 minute long mini-episodes. It seems to be a sequel to the other TV series of mini-episodes which was a tie-in to the actual movie.
How much time do Americans spend on their 360s, PS3s and Wiis? Lots!
Gasoline thieves adopt a new drill. Desperate times breed creativity.
Rising gas prices finally kill the once-mighty SUV. I always thought it was odd that people who didn't need SUVs always seemed to have them. Even odder are people that do need them like local musicians, who would cram their gear (like gigantic amps) into tiny little compact cars, never seemed to have them.
Rumor Mill: MGM Readying Bond Titles For Blu-ray Release?. Two out of three of Connery's best Bond flicks are in that initial batch: THUNDERBALL and FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (probably my favorite Connery Bond).

hey mike, this is andrew13/gijoe13. if you need a new host, i've basically been squatting on my old host for 18 months now. they foregot i had a account their i guess. so if you want it, you're more than welcome to it. i haven't done anything for my sites in a long time. shoot me an email if you're interested... clarionshows@gmail.com
That's a really kind offer. So thanks for that. I actually might have something else lined up, so I probably won't need to take you up on it. (Plus my luck your host would finally cut you off the second I finished FTPing all of the my files to the server.)
Anyway, for the time being, this will be where I do my writing, and I'll probably just upload all the old stuff (provided I can get it) as an archive.
