Do you pirate media you already own? I've downloaded an CD or two that I was too lazy to dig out and rip to MP3.I've also got downloaded rips of a few TV shows and movies that I own on DVD or Blu-ray ripped to the computer in my bedroom for convenient viewing.

LOSERS director confirms he may do ROBOTECH. I loved ROBOTECH until I discovered the source material it was butchered out of. I do still have some nostalgic love for the re-edit though.

Anton Yelchin scores lead role in FRIGHT NIGHT remake. Two thoughts...
1) Is this kid the new Shia? Landing roles in big movies and not a lot of people like him.
2) Really? Another remake? FRIGHT NIGHT doesn't need a remake. Ever.
David Cross: ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT movie "not going to happen". I'd rather have this sort of brutal honesty, than stuff like the guy who made VERONICA MARS going around saying that the VM movie could still happen. Why get fans' hopes up?

Massachusetts Gambling Bill Criminalizes Online Poker. In an effort to get casinos in the state, they're also trying to eliminate competition by trying to ban online poker in Mass. This has happened before and didn't go through. Honestly, even if they were to make playing poker online against the law here in Mass, I'll keep doing it. Of course, they might've removed the potential ban in a revised version of the bill...

Full Tilt Poker reportedly investigated by Grand Jury. They're trying to dress it up as "money laundering" charges. Total nonsense. The stupid law that's made it so it's harder for US players to deposit money onto poker sites didn't make poker illegal. It just made it so US banks can't knowingly send funds to sites. That's it. Since that didn't stop people, over-zealous anti-gambling nuts are looking for any loophole they can to stop people from doing whatever they want to do, legally, with their money.
