Dumb
DMCA abuse extends to Twitter posts. How long before we're not allowed to even think about material that's under copyright without having to pay?
Entertainment
Pierce Brosnan did not enjoy making or promoting TOMORROW NEVER DIES. Out of the four Bond movies he made, this is the second worst. (The other obviously being the god awful DIE ANOTHER DAY.) I don't blame him for not really liking it.
CHUCK producers 'hopeful' for renewal. Given how I've either given up on shows that got boring to me (HEROES, HOUSE, BURN NOTICE) and I've got shows that are ending (LOST, 24), I'll be watching far less TV next fall. Hopefully CHUCK will be one of the few shows I'm still watching then.
Who can rescue us from another season of HEROES? On one hand the show had gotten so bad when I stopped watching that cancellation would've been a mercy. On the other hand, it would be unexpectedly cool of a major network to let a show on the decline wrap things up instead of just outright cancelling without concluding the storylines. (Similarly cool to the situation with Fox with DOLLHOUSE.)
The man who makes Will Ferrell funny may direct "cokehead superhero" epic. It's an adapatation of Garth Ennis' THE BOYS. They better cast Simon Pegg if they do it, since the main character is based on him visually.
The classic alien won't appear in Ridley Scott's prequels at all. Sounds kinda weird to me.
Bill Murray again dismisses GHOSTBUSTERS 3; “It’s just a myth,” he says. Meaning, there's no script or anything yet, and that the guys who were going to write it made that bomb YEAR ONE.
Video Games
UPDATE: 38 Infinity Ward employees file lawsuit against Activision over royalties, alleges devs held "hostage". This isn't just people who left the company, which there are more of each day, this includes people still at IW under Activision.
Frank West cameos not stopping. Given how eager Capcom is to use the DEAD RISING main character, it's odd they didn't have him come back for that game's sequel.
