KICK-ASS: The media controversy begins! Given the source material, anybody who didn't see this coming is incredibly dense.
Her most desperate hour: Carrie Fisher discusses THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL. That special was so bad that even I, back when I used to watch the trilogy every day at work (at the comic store in the '90s) watched it and thought it was the worst thing I'd ever seen.
DOLLHOUSE's Dr. Saunders has one more big surprise in store. Hopefully the last two episodes wrap things up well.
Globes Preview: behold the brilliance of Ricky Gervais. Ricky might be the only thing that could convince me to sit through a boring Hollywood awards show.
Execs: 'No perfect way to end LOST'. Translation: "If the ending sucks, we knew you'd complain!" I still hope it's a good ending.
Video Games
SPLINTER CELL: CONVICTION delayed. Again. It's only three years late! On one hand, I'm dying to play this game. On the other, February was a crowded gaming month for me with both BIOSHOCK 2 and HEAVY RAIN hitting in the two weeks prior to the last announced release date for SC:C. Now I'll have more time for those games. But the delay really sucks. Especially knowing that it's delayed just so Ubisoft can pump up their next fiscal year to try and placate shareholders. Plus, knowing me, I'll blow through the money I set aside for SPLINTER CELL and then come April (if it actually comes out then), I'll probably be broke.

BIOSHOCK 2 to last over 10 hours. The longer the better. I want to get the most out of my $50-60. I'm sick of paying that much and getting a six hour game.
BioShock 2 director explains Vita-Chamber changes, backtracking prohibition. Not only will the game be long, but it won't be padded out with backtracking?
Cut FFXIII content was enough for separate game, says Square Enix. Anybody want to bet that this stuff was cut so that they can sell it to gamers as DLC?
Irrational Games worked on a zombie shooter predating LEFT 4 DEAD. Oddly enough, it looks incredibly similar to L4D. Either way, it's a shame this didn't come out since it looks good, and these guys have a great track record (the SYSTEM SHOCK series, BIOSHOCK).
MODERN WARFARE 2 brings in a billion. That's really impressive.
Sony responds to HEAVY RAIN US box art hate. While I do think the US box art sucks compared to the Euro version, I don't look at the box enough to really care enough to print out an alternate version. As long as the game is worth the money, then I'm happy. (I will, however, be unhappy if it comes in one of those flimsy "environmentally friendly" cases that provide the discs with minimal protection. I'm more about function than looks with this sort of thing.)
EA: No more killing brown people for cash in ARMY OF TWO. I didn't play enough of AO2 while at my friend's house to notice anything that would offend the easily offended.

Gmail's HTTPS access is enabled by default. I already had the option for HTTPS activated on all of my Gmail accounts. Really though, it's smart to make it the default for everybody right off the bat.
Digital music prices: are they illegally fixed?. Let's face it, they most likely are.
