I just can't string together consistent wins this month. It's incredibly frustrating. I'm basically back to where I started this month. Two weeks of profit gone up in smoke.

The sick thing is, I'm actually playing the same way I do as when I win. Except, I keep running into coolers and suck outs. Somebody shoves preflop and I call with Kings? Well we'll get another caller and he'll have Aces beating both my Kings and the original raiser's Ace-King. I get a set? I'll be up against a full house, a better set, or a straight. I get my money in on the right spots and still don't win. When I have been winning, it's tiny compared to when I lose. (In fact, I'd say the majority of the money lost in that graph have been in less than a dozen hands.) Admittedly, in I did make a bad play or two (usually calling a raise in a marginal spot), but those are usually small loses. The kind I normally shrug off.
I understand variance. And I know that long-term, given my overall results, that I'm a winning player. I just can't believe how horrible I've been doing since the end of last month.
