I came across this one on a poker blog, it's a football player paying loving tribute to the proud tradition of mullets. Wow. Some of those quotes from that might have to make their way into my vocabulary. "Party with two r's," is definitely something I need to work into more conversations.

Here are the REAL odds that the world will end in 2012. Given the way the things progressively get worse each year, would the end of the world be all that bad of a thing?
Tech
Swedish Internet traffic recovers after initial IPRED scare. People will do what they're going to do, useless legislation or not.
High-def junkies rejoice! Here comes YouTube in glorious 1080p HD. For those of you who weren't using up enough of your bandwidth as it is!
PS3s replace costly PCs to crack pedo passwords. I wonder if they're violating the DMCA to do this. That'd be ironic.
Entertainment
Hollywood rethinks use of A-list actors. Might bring some of "poor" Hollywood's budgets down. Since "piracy is killing them". You know, aside from the profits that break each previous year's record.
Davies: No DOCTOR WHO movie from me. I don't think there needs to be a WHO movie. Just keep making the show. Still, it's good that if there were to be a movie, Davies would not be the writer. Sure, he brought the show back, but his take on the character sucks compared to the classic show.
Fox exec on DOLLHOUSE: "I’ll still get hate mail and death threats". That's probably a fair and realistic assessment.
WICKER MAN, EQUALIZER actor Edward Woodward dies. The real WICKER MAN, not the terrible Nick Cage remake. The last thing I recall Woodward in was HOT FUZZ.
First Look: OTHER LIVES by Peter Bagge. I didn't know Peter Bagge was doing something new for Vertigo. I love his stuff.
VIdeo Games
Rockstar’s Dan Houser hints at next GTA. I don't think that hinting there will be a next GRAND THEFT AUTO is much of anything. That's a complete, "no kidding". Really, that's it. No clues about where or anything like that.
HEAVY RAIN developer weighs in on MODERN WARFARE 2. All of this controversy over one level (where you don't actually have to participate, you can just watch). I think there should be more controversy over the fact that it took me longer to download and install the game to my PC than to complete it.
Voice actor says IW planning "Ghost" spin off for MODERN WARFARE 2. Well, it'd definitely have to be a prequel. That's all I'll say about that.
Russia Pulls Modern Warfare 2? Considering the game is about Russian terrorists killing an airport full of people while pretending to be Americans which incites Russia to invade the US, I guess they might be a bit unhappy about it. Really though, it just paints both governments as pawns of terrorists. While playing MODERN WARFARE 2, and thinking how similar parts of it were to RED DAWN (right down to a mission being titled, "Wolverines!"), which is getting an upcoming remake, it made me think that some people have some sort of nostalgia for the Cold War.
