Twitter user 'Shit My Dad Says' gets CBS deal. They will literally make a TV show out of anything. (Although that Twitter account has some amusing stuff on it.) No wonder network TV is all but dead.
Capcom will release RE5 Alternative Edition as DLC. So basically people won't have to buy RESIDENT EVIL 5 on disc again to get the new missions. (Although, I bet they'll put it out on disc anyway.)
Now for some complaining about the content industry...
The ACTA Internet provisions: DMCA goes worldwide. Seriously ACTA is horrible. Horrible. It won't just effect people downloading movies or music or whatever. It'll be bad for the whole internet. Like the guy from BoingBoing says, "ISPs have to proactively police copyright on user-contributed material. This means that it will be impossible to run a service like Flickr or YouTube or Blogger, since hiring enough lawyers to ensure that the mountain of material uploaded every second isn't infringing will exceed any hope of profitability."
MPAA asks FCC for control of your TV's analog outputs. Seriously, they're not even trying to hide the fact that they want to control everything anymore.
Comcast exec: we need to change customer behavior, not our business model. You'd think Comcast wouldn't be too worried about people using the internet to watch things since they're the biggest ISP in the US. Which means, they're getting money out of people whether they watch things on their cable box or through things like YouTube.
Honestly, it's dinosaurs thrashing around as the tar sucks them down further into the pit.
