TV From 9-17-2009

The fall season has begun, so whenever I can muster up the will to do so, I'll be writing about the stuff I watched. Well, unless I get distracted by other things. Then I'll forget all about it.

THE OFFICE: A fairly decent episode. Good enough to keep me watching at least. Last year I wasn't too enthused about the show. Hopefully this year will be better.

COMMUNITY: Lots of critical hype, but I only laughed once or twice. I'll probably watch it as a filler show for another few episodes at least. Sometimes shows take a few episodes to get good.

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA: Overall, I didn't find last season that funny, but I thought I was going to have a heart attack laughing during a good chunk of this episode. Bits of it reminded me of the hilarious, "home makeover" episode, and I thought this was a really strong start to the new season.

ARCHER: An animated spy spoof on FX? Sounds right up my alley? Too bad the shit sucks. I think I laughed once the entire time. I doubt I'll be back for the second episode of this next year.

Now I just need to watch the 6th series premiere episode of PEEP SHOW from Friday night.

There was definitely too much hype around Community, all the laughable party were featured in the previews or sneak peeks. Maybe it will be better this week when I don't already know the punchline.
