G.I. JOE is AWOL for critics. When studios don't screen movies for critics, that's a gigantic sign they know it's a turd.
Sommers feels good about G.I. JOE sequel. You know what movie I wish Sommers had a good feeling about a sequel? DEEP RISING, which is probably the only movie he's made that I really liked*. That even had a "if this is a hit there will definitely be a sequel" ending. Sigh.
* The first MUMMY was kind of okay too.
THE INBETWEENERS to get third series. I'm sure most of my US readers are shrugging their shoulders since they don't know what I'm talking about. Too bad, since this show is awkward and hilarious.
Gervais looking to give up acting for directing. Well that would kinda suck. I hope he just cuts back on acting to do directing without quitting outright.
