Entertainment

Hulu may start charging for content. Two words: big mistake. They should just be happy that people who want to watch for free will sit through the forced ads. All charging for Hulu will do is send those ad-watchers to torrents or other ways of downloading TV shows.

Cylon plan will make you gasp, buy DVDs. While I'm not bothering with CAPRICA, I am planning on watching THE PLAN, just to finish off the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA storyline. That's despite being disappointed by the final episode.

Video Games

Where CALL OF DUTY went and other mysteries of the universe. I don't care if MODERN WARFARE 2 has the COD name attached or not. If it's as good as the first MODERN WARFARE, then I'm definitely playing the hell out of it.

CONVICTION producer says players shouldn't fear the new 'Mark and Execute' feature. After such a long wait (it's two years late), my interest in the new SPLINTER CELL had evaporated, and I'm saying that as somebody who loved all of the other games in the series. But after seeing the trailer and gameplay footage from E3, I think I'm more psyched about this game than any of the others I had previous been so jazzed about that are coming out in the final two months of the year.

Wah wah wah Left 4 Dead 2! Another article about the people whining about LEFT 4 DEAD getting a sequel so quickly. As I wrote last time, I totally agree these people are whiners.

Yarr!!!

Piracy is unstoppable, says ISP CEO. He's got that right. The best way to beat piracy is making content that's worth buying.

Z-Cult FM comic BitTorrent tracker turns the final page. I used to be a member of Z-Cult a few years ago, and I definitely switched the usenet and then Rapidshare/Megaupload, etc type sites to get my occasional scans. Personally, I use scans to check out new titles to see if they're worth picking up. If it weren't for comic scans, I might never have gotten hooked on books like WALKING DEAD and CRIMINAL.
