Man gets face full of brass knuckles over PS3. Well that's one way to discuss consoles, I suppose. I'm surprised that it wasn't a console robbery, just a dust-up over who owned it. (Not that this is better.)
THE STRANGERS II: STRANGERS-ER. I haven't seen THE STRANGERS yet, since I've already seen ILS (aka THEM!), which is essentially the same movie, just in French. I'm waiting for DVD on THE STRANGERS. However, making that movie into a franchise with sequels seems like a terrible idea that ruins the effectiveness of the first movie. So yeah, business as usual in Hollywood.

Lionsgate, a studio with no conscience. Outrage over Lionsgate releasing DISASTER MOVIE on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Boo-hoo. Look that movie is a turd, but this seems like a really stupid thing to get worked up over. I guess maybe if you live in New Orleans, maybe it's something that might, and I stress that word, might bother you. I doubt too many people elsewhere really give a damn. As far as I can tell, most people are more offended they keep churning out these unfunny crap movies. Deadline Hollywood Daily had the best coverage around during the writer's strike, but this sort of article seems like needless over-sensitive whining on a slow entertainment news day.
