UK ISPs Threat Against File-sharers - Will B&P Be the Way of the Future? Everything old is new again.

Why does the recording industry decide who gets threatening letters from ISPs? Because they're the ones making all the bribes silly! After all...

You are sharing files. Unless of course you're not. But why bother confusing the issue with facts, right? I think a lot of people are asking the right questions, and I'm sure none of us will get any real answers.

Former Googleers unveil Cuil, a new search engine. They've got a way to go before they can be a serious competitor to Google. For all the bluster and hype about being a Google killer, the few searches I tried simply didn't return results as good as the same search performed on Google. Dumb name too. Try harder. My grade for this one so far? Fail.

US Senator concerned 'The Dark Knight' will lose money from piracy. Lose money? It's on it's way to becoming the most profitable movie of all time. (It made over $350 million in just ten days.) Oh, the senator is Patrick Leahy. Well, that explains it. He's in the pocket of the entertainment industy. Sold, lock, stock, and barrel. Need I say more?

Angry man shoots lawn mower for not starting. Well, that's perfectly rational and reasonable.

Tech Zombies: 6 technologies that don't know they're dead. Most of us still use most of these things, but I can agree that their days are numbered.

Rep: Ironside not out of SPLINTER CELL: CONVICTION. Of course it isn't confirmed that he's in either.

Hayden Panettiere’s Inner Monologue At Comic Con. I understand why the Hollywood types secretly loathe having to do Comic-Con. I think they can take solace in the fact that most comic nerds will never reproduce. Well, unless they start doing their own human cloning experiments. (The irony on the sign in picture two made me chuckle.)
