Potential strike already affecting film biz. Here we go again. I have to say, that I've got far less sympathy for the actors than I had for the writers. Some of them seem like really cool people, but on average they make faaaaar more than the writers do.

Being woken in the dead of night by noisy neighbours blasting out music could soon be a thing of the past. This "acoustic cloak" thing sounds like a winner to me. No pun intended.

Team Ninja Follows Leader Out of Tecmo. That sounds like bad news for Tecmo, considering that TN is responsible for all of the titles that actually sell like NINJA GAIDEN and the various DEAD OR ALIVE games.

BitTorrent users refuse to pay copyright fines. I'd imagine that most people simply couldn't afford to pay the ridiculous fees awarded in court.

Get a ninja in your Google Reader. That's a cool little easter egg. He disappears once you close Google Reader, so the change isn't permanent. (Or if you don't want to close Reader just do the code again.)

Coin-op Arcades Are Fading Into Memory. I still want to have an arcade eventually. No matter how impractical that might be.

EMPIRE STRIKES BACK scribe to tackle ROBOTECH. Chalk this one up in the "I don't think a live-action adaptation is a good idea" column.

AP goes after bloggers for posting article headlines and snippets. Copyright gone mad. Soon people won't be able to think things without having some sort of license for it.

PUNISHER: WAR ZONE movie trailer. This doesn't look very good. You'd think out of all of the comics characters out there The Punisher would be easy to adapt to a movie. He's more realistic than superheroes. Some guy out there is probably just one bad day away from becoming The Punisher. It's far less likely we'd see a Batman rather than some guy with a gun blowing away scumbags.
