Prison Break 401-402

The season premiere of PRISON BREAK was really enjoyable. I think more happened in the first hour of the show than happens in some shows in an entire season. They really moved all of the pieces around really quickly to set up the new status quo for this season. They also got all of the new characters from last season out of the way as fast as they could. (Well, except for that bit at the end...)

Minor spoilers ahead...

The new setup, with them being free to move about but still "in prison" by having the ankle bracelets, is a clever move. It also makes sense to have them act as some sort of covert team.

The new guy tracking the fugitives down is pretty vicious and resourceful. It'll be interesting to see how his role plays out over the season.

The scene in the alley was pretty shocking. I didn't see that coming.

I also was wrong about one of my predictions while watching the episode(s). I thought that T-Bag and his coyote buddy would've stumbled across Gretchen while treking across the desert.

It'll be interesting to see how those hints that something is very very wrong with Michael, especially hammered home by that last scene, play out.

All in all, this season looks like it'll be good. Even if it gets as convoluted as the last three seasons have, I'll still watch.

Tonight, THE SHIELD has its season premiere. I'm really looking forward to that, but it sucks that this is the final season.
