September is here already. It's a holiday weekend, so there's nothing all that interesting to link to. I'm psyched about the fall TV season kicking off tonight with PRISON BREAK though. 2 hours of mindless escapist (no pun intended) fun.
Anyway, I did dig up two news stories to link today.
French ISP openly refuses to filter P2P - Defying laws to do so? Insert your own joke about the French not surrendering for a change here.
Treatment for hearing loss? Scientists grow hair cells involved in hearing. As I get older this is something that might interest me later in life. Also, my ex-girlfriend spent somewhere in the neighborhood at least four years in graduate school (and probably a few in regular college) studying to work with the deaf. So, to me at least, it'd be pretty funny to me if they cured deafness. Not in a malicious way, it's been almost nine years so I'm pretty much over any grudge I might've held. I just find it sort of "ooops!" funny.
