People of my age remember the old SUPER FRIENDS cartoon. They are also more likely to remember the Wonder Twins and their blue monkey than their predecessors. Remember Wendy, Martin and Wonder Dog? Annoying, weren't they? Well, they introduced Wendy and Marvin to the comics last year in the pages of TEEN TITANS. Then in the most recent issue of TEEN TITANS they brought in Wonder Dog. Well, if you hated those characters as a kid, you'll love what happens to them. I know it made me laugh hysterically when I read it this week.
Memo to Comcast: Show us the meter for metered broadband. Not much to add to this that either I didn't read elsewhere or that I didn't write myself already. I just agree and figure the more news stories that people read about this, the better informed they'll be.
Another bomb hits Japan. And it's called THE DARK KNIGHT. This story, about how box office for TDK isn't that great in Japan, is really politically correct. So you know that I loved it and laughed my ass off while reading it.
Is your kid really gifted? Probably not. This should be tacked on every refrigerator and school bulletin board in America.
Scientists discover why flies are so hard to swat. Because they're small and fast with eyes that see 360 degrees. They needed a scientific study to figure that out (again)?
Kevin Mitnick tells all in upcoming book -- promises no whining. I read the two books about him, so maybe I'll read this.
Album-loving artists blame iTunes for changed music tastes. "Waaaah! In an age where more and more people can and will download music for free, I get upset when people pay to download my music but not the way that I want them to! Waaaah!" Stop churning out one or two decent singles and a bunch of filler and that might help. Idiots.
