Mini-Me sex tape: Avert your eyes!. I think my eyes just got up and walked away from the rest of my head in protest.

Is Comic-Con Looking Shaky This Year? I guess there's a possibility that due to the looming actors strike there might be less Hollywood presence at the San Diego Comic-Con this year. So, basically it wouldn't be the Hollywood film festival that it's seemed to have become in the last few years and an actual comic book convention again? I don't see that as a bad thing.

Everyone who loves WALL-E, step forward! Not so fast, Republicans, fat people. Sounds to me like WALL-E, much like IDIOCRACY, points to where society is headed. Of course some people won't like their shortcomings being pointed out by entertainment. Especially "family" entertainment.

The fight to end aging gains legitimacy, funding. Awesome. Let's get cracking on this. I want to live forever and not look all old and wrinkly. If they can do something about balding as well, that'd just be great.

Do half of Americans really want the gov't to regulate the internet?. Well at least 50% of the population (and growing!) have to be stupid, so I'd say they probably do. Even if they don't, I'm sure the figures can be manipulated to make it look that way.

Man dies after downing 23 shots of vodka in 30 minutes. Sounds like somebody can't hold his liquor.

BitTorrent, P2P Criticized by Internet Founder. He's claiming that P2P traffic uses up 80% of all bandwidth. Of course he's got an ulterior motive, since he owns a company that specializes in bandwidth restricting. The thing is, if 80% of what the internet is used for is sharing files, then shouldn't the people running the ISPs make the improvments people pay to see so they get the service that they're paying for? Then of course there's the other side of this story...

Bell's own data exposes P2P as a red herring. File sharing not the resource hog it's made out to be? Imagine that.

Napster faces proxy battle from three shareholders. Among the reasons for the dispute, "current management had not been aggressive enough in battling rival Apple Inc and Internet piracy." Wow. That's a bit ironic, considering that the company is named for the program that essentially made internet "piracy" easy and mainstream. (It was around well before Napster, but that was the program that everybody knew about. It essentially opened Pandora's Box.)

Radio stations, RIAA trade barbs at hearing over royalties. Their antics really make both sides out to be sane, rational people. HAHAHAHA!

Man forgot he was married. For thirty years. That's just above and beyond the call of duty.

Don't Blame Rick752 For Blocking Ads; Blame Those Who Made Ads Annoying. As someone who recently started running a few ads, I'm a gigantic hypocrite for running Adblock on my browsers. (Then again, I'm advertising Amazon, who's deals and stuff I actually seek out on deal sites and DVD news sites for my own use, so it's probably not that hypocritical.)

Contrary to rumors, 24 will be 24 episodes next season. So, there you have that.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE trailer on Monday. So be excited for that. Or else.

Cops Say Teens Were Emulating GTA in Robbery Spree.... With those douchey haircuts, did anybody see these idiot kids not turning to some sort of troublemaking. I love how they're going to jump on the "video games made me do it" defense though. If not games, maybe they can blame the movie SMOKIN' ACES, since they seem to have emulated the haircuts of some of the cast of that flick.

Don't Count The Tenth Doctor Out Just Yet. I wouldn't be sad to see him go. Granted, he's only as good as the scripts he's given, but in my opinion the 10th Doctor has been a huge disappointment overall. (He is supposedly the most popular though, I think he's even overtaken Tom Baker, who held that crown for a loooong time.)

A bit of local news: Overall crime rate drops 15 percent in Springfield. Rape is up 46% though. So I guess it's better news for men than women. After all, how many dudes do you hear about getting raped? I'm not trivializing rape or anything. I'm just far more concerned with my own well being, and I'm much more worried about getting mugged and killed by some crackhead than somebody wanting to sexually assault me.

Overall crime rate drops 15 percent in Springfield

that's because 10% of the population was murdered, 20% moved out, and 40% became to fat and lazy to go out and comit crimes...

so now the remaining percentage that are commiting crimes have to try that much harder to keep up.
