Do You Think Famous People Laugh At Dumb Things Written About Them?

The other day I was in line at the store and in the checkout line they had a bunch of the tabloids. Usually I don't notice them, but for whatever reason this time I did and one of them had one of those headlines about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and how she's his "prisoner" and all of the sort of stuff that pop culture gossip consists of and feeds upon. Kind of like this...

I don't presume to know (or care) what their relationship is like, but reading that headline made me think a bit. I wonder if they joke about those headlines and that sort of thing to each other? I mean it's pretty ridiculous to imagine that some multi-millionaire actor is holding the broad from DAWSON'S CREEK prisoner. I know if I was famous and people were saying dumb shit like that about me that I'm the sort of person who would laugh about it, and probably joke around about it. So I have to wonder if they have a sense of humor about it.

That's probably the first and last time I have a thought about either of those two aside from, "I wonder if this movie that they're in sucks or not."
